Angella loves working with clients who are passionate about using their financial resources to create joyful lives for their families, loved ones, and communities. She brings a unique and varied background to her relationships with clients, having studied classical piano for 13 years prior to transitioning to the financial services industry. While studying music in college, she had many talented colleagues who had begun to achieve professional success, yet would have benefited from financial guidance to help them navigate preparing for major financial milestones like buying a house, planning for a family, or saving for retirement given their irregular incomes. This experience helped foster her interest in financial planning, initially as a means to plan for her own future, before realizing that she could apply her skills and passion to help others.
Angella loves working with busy professionals and families who are seeking more structure and clarity around their financial lives and who are dedicated to making their working years work for them. She has a special affinity for families with young children, multi-cultural families, and solo practitioners or small business owners in fields of service such as therapy, law, and the arts. Her biggest joys are seeing clients reach goals they didn’t think were possible and using their money to make a difference in the lives of their families, friends, and the people they love most.
Previously, she worked for Dimensional Fund Advisors, a global investment manager, where she learned about the downsides of stock picking and the merits of trusting the markets. In her free time, you can find Angella playing the piano, practicing her French, or planning hiking trips throughout the desert Southwest with her husband and toddler.
