Public Relations Associate
Job summary:
The Public Relations Associate will have excellent communication, writing, copywriting and editing skills. This individual will develop public relations materials for the general public and assist with public relations activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop press releases, fact sheets, and other media materials - Create, coordinate, develop and distribute marketing plans - Promote the company mission and goals - Promote a positive company image by writing, preparing and delivering information about the company through mainly personal contact with clients, potential clients, HR members, and small businesses - Assist in all ongoing media relations activities
Candidate Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and competencies - Bachelors degree or equivalent experience - 2-5 years experience in public relations/marketing - Fluency in journalistic writing - Experience and confidence in face to face networking as well as social media use in a corporate environment
