Financial Planning Intern

 

Job summary:

 

The Pioneer Wealth Financial Planning Intern program allows students and graduates majoring in financial planning, finance, business or a related area of study the opportunity to learn first-hand about the financial planning profession. Through the program interns will learn the following.

 

- Understanding of the financial services industry and the planning profession

- The knowledge and skills required for an entry-level financial planner position

- A fundamental knowledge of investment management, insurance, tax, and estate planning.

 

Candidate Skills and Competencies

 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and competencies

- Currently attained or working towards Bachelor's degree

- Relevant professional experience. Consulting or customer service skills preferred

- Strong analytical skills. Must be able to assess situations, identify trends, and develop solutions.

- Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in an entrepreneurial environment

- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent Pioneer Wealth in a professional, engaging, and dynamic manner

- Collaborative team player who is willing to go above and beyond the job description
